(newspapers, magazines, advertisements, envelopes)
All paper which arrives in your home with the post should be recyclable.

Glass
(coloured and clear glass, no window glass, porcelain or ceramics)
returnable bottles back to the shop

Metals
(food tins and aluminium trays, metal objects. bicycle frames)

Cardboard
(Brown cardboard, corrugated cardboard and kraft paper, liquid cartons like milk, juice and cream cartons, biscuit and cereal packages.

Biowaste
(food leftovers, fruit and vegetable peel, kitchen paper, gardening waste, tea bags)




Electrical goods and electronic scrap
(TVs, computers, refrigerators, freezers)

Hazardous wastes
(waste oils, batteries and accumulators, fluorescent light tubes, medicines, mercury thermometers, paints, clues, varnishes, solvents and other toxic materials)

Citizens can bring their recyclable wastes to ecopoints. Ecopoints are meant for household waste such as glass, small metal objects, paper and cardboard. Ecopoints are located near markets, shopping centres and in small residential areas. Approximately 80 ecopoints are located in the Upper-Savo region.
